'Bircko' is the derivative of the founding Directors surname and his wife's maiden name. Amongst friends, they are sometimes known as the Bircko family.

Bircko is also an Australian term meaning crazy or wild ie someone has gone Bircko. You might think it's a bit of a silly name, we do too. It is memorable however and good business doesn't alway have to be serious. Look at Crazy John's... maybe he wasn't so crazy after all.
